This property is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and beautiful. The property is large enough to have its own trails through the woods (not a long hike, but just great to meander along the lakeside while still remaining in the forest).

Our condo had two nice bedrooms, private baths, and a great set-up. <br/>we stayed on the third (top) level for a wonderful view of the lake below. There is limited toilet paper and paper towels, limited dish washing detergent, and no bath soap, so bring your own. Our unit did not have a washer and dryer and we knew that coming in, so we brought enough extra clothing. We will rent this unit again. Very quiet private and safe place. Laid back and relaxing!

The property manager was quick to respond to all questions .<br/>The rental was located in a quiet area with the lake right out back.<br/>It was clean and very spacious.

Fishing is more fun when you can go back to an amazing condo for lunch and in the evening.

Perfect getaway- the accommodations were incredible , check in was easy , spacious , restful . The Villa was spotless, quiet and super comfortable, can’t wait to return !

We loved his condo. The design is simply gorgeous. The layout with two en suites on each end of the condo was perfect for two couples.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful, well kept condo on Oct 23-Oct 26th.The scenery here is beautiful and the condo is super clean and very spacious. Lisa is very informing and easy to work with. This condo is very close to Fall Creek Falls. We also went to Rock Island which is not far from the condo. This condo has everything you need, very well stocked. We cooked and ate in the condo for breakfast and dinner. We did eat at The Market in Rock Island. The catfish was delicious there. You will not regret renting this condo and I am very picky.

i would have given it a 5 stars except he air condition flooded and we couldn't use it during our stay. Also there were only 2 small chairs on the balcony. Need several comfy chairs.

Absolutely perfect place to connect with family and turn off the TV.

A lovely place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, secluded and beautiful view. We enjoyed the parks nearby and were able to travel an hour or so to other locations to visit. Definitely recommend using the road through the park to highways instead of the curvy ones. Bring lawn chairs! Only 1 outdoor chair on the balcony. Would have loved to have used the pool area. Pack your groceries because the nearest store is 20 minutes. Very relaxing and the condo was very clean and met our needs.

Needed a place to stay for business.

Anniversary trip in July. Residents say it's crowded on holidays but we had the place to ourselves. Very nice. Great experience. We will book again.

Beautiful condo, relaxing location. It is remote so bring all your groceries with you. Took 2 kids (8 and 10yrs old) - we enjoyed campfires, swimming in the lake (they caught 12 Blue Gills and its catch & release), swimming in the community pool, playing on the playground and basketball courts. Location is about 15 minutes from Falls Creek Falls Park with lots of hiking, fishing, kayaking, swimming, etc nearby.

It was the most peaceful 3 days. The cabin was very beautiful. The only thing I wished were different was the back yard was rough getting to the lake but I have 2 year old twins. I wish we could have stayed longer it was fantastic

We are property owners in LBL so we know the "lay of the land"- Remote and quiet- TV did not work and floors could be cleaner- Otherwise, very good experience (second time staying)

Great spot to getaway! The condo is clean, furnished with everything you need, and has GORGEOUS views!!! We were able to turn off the electronics and enjoy the outdoors. When needed, Cliff and Lisa were quick to respond and resolve any issues.

We loved a stay at Trout Hill. Our condo was beautifully furnished and was the perfect location to relax after longs days hiking in area parks. The view from the deck was beautiful, and was the ideal place for my morning cup of coffee. We will definitely stay here again the next time we return to the area.

The condos at highland rim are beautiful and accommodating. All of the lakes are breathtaking and there is so much outdoor fun the whole family can enjoy. The property managers go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. I will definitely be booking another trip!

The rental was really hard to find with the written directions provided. we then were depending on our GPS bur lost our signal. It was so far out in the middle of nowhere! there was no washer/dryer in the unit and we had to constantly call about towels, etc. Our representative was very helpful but I felt bad that I was bothering her. On the plus side the condo was very nice and roomy on the inside. the view was very pretty. Not the fault of the rental agency but we were wishing we had known that the falls were completely dry!

The place was beautiful and secluded, overlooking a lake. Not far from Fall Creek Falls at all. I would however recommend that the owner repair the internet network. Didn't really work at all during our stay.<br/><br/>The metal cookware/utensils should be replaced, and the place could use a good deep spring cleaning.

The Trout Hill Condo #722 was absolutely wonderful. Comfortable beds and sofas, well appointed kitchen with brand new appliances, flat screen TV. Beautiful view of the lake. Loved everything about the condo. The resort area, which is gated, is wonderful with lots of amenities (baseball field, basketball and tennis courts), but if you will have to bring the people. The onsite general store was not open. Also, not a problem for us, but the unit did not have a washer/dryer and luckily we brought a few extra towels. Plan ahead.<br/>The location is hard to find and please believe me when they say it is "remote." Make that stop at the WalMart in Sparta (?), even though it is 30 minutes away as there is literally NOTHING in Spencer. I would also recommend filling up with gas in Sparta, as the only gas station we could find was the Fall Creek Falls Market and we paid dearly for being so desperate. Also, there are NO restaurants of any kind nearby - no fast food - nowhere to eat, except the Fall Creek Falls Inn Restaurant, which is a blast from the past, buffet style, rather expensive and much like eating in a school cafeteria. Not recommended. Our family enjoyed playing golf at the state park and fishing, although we didn't have one nibble while we were there.

Condo was very well maintained. Perfect getaway<br/>if you want to relax in a nice peaceful setting.

We stayed at this properrty while doing some hiking in the area. It was beautifully furnished, adequately stocked & had a great view. It provided the peace we needed and gave us the rest & relaxation we were seeking.

The Trout Condos were so new and clean and enjoyable. The peacefulness of the setting was amazing! The lakes were beyond wonderful and the kayaking time was a time of catching fish and relaxing.<br/>The main areas like the Pavillion and playground area could have been mowed and cleaned up better to be able to enjoy that element of the trip. They definitely needed more upkeep.<br/>

Very spacious, clean, great views, and quiet. Very much exceeded expectations. Staff were responsive and attentive.

We rented two units as part of a family reunion. It was the perfect way to get to nature and still have some luxuries of a nice condo and amenities. It was clean and modern. It was very remote which is nice for an escape, but far from any grocery or medical if needed. The pool was ice cold (we thought it was to be heated).

A wonderful home away from home!!!

This was truly an unexpected paradise! The pictures of this place doesn't do it any justice. The private lakes and swimming pool were beautiful! The condo was cozy and had every amenity you need to have a great stay! We will be making this our little getaway from now on!!!

This was a much needed vacation and getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of work and city life. It was a very secluded, serene setting where I could just relax and let go of my normal stressors. I truly did not want to leave. I would definitely come back in the future with hopes of getting to explore the trails of the property and Fall Creek Falls. Oh, and I loved the local honey!

Our visit this past weekend was everything we thought it would be. The grounds are beautiful and there were many great things to do. Though it rained majority of the time we were there we were still able to visit the Falls Park and take advantage of the lake. Also had a great time playing volleyball and Bball! The condo was amazing and just perfect for the 5 of us! The staff at the general store were great as well! Cathy was super fast and very friendly when it came to feeding us 5 girls!! Would definitely like to stay here again!

A beautiful area, the rain washed a rather deep gouge in the drive, but still passable, slowly. Had to borrow a toaster from next door! Pleasant stay.
