Long Branch Lakes

Quiet mornings by the lake, invigorating hikes, afternoons in the saddle, and gorgeous sunsets... all courtesy of the natural paradise that is Long Branch Lakes!

Long Branch Lakes is a vast and beautiful 5,000-acre gated community atop the Highland Rim in central Tennessee.  Located minutes from Fall Creek Falls and Bledsoe State Forest, our Trout Hills Condominiums and Preserve Craftsman's Special Home are located here.  A world of community amenities await visitors and property owners and all are inclusive to visiting guests and property owners unless otherwise noted... how amazing is that?!

Lakefront Recreation & Pavilions

The main recreation area is located at the edge of the 50-acre Camp Lake, featuring an expansive, open-air pavilion constructed of massive white pine timbers and graced with a stone fireplace and community grill.


Boat docks welcome residents to the pleasures of paddling and fishing.  This is also where guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, sports courts and the General Store.

A second recreation area is located on 80-acre Long Lake, where the community’s inviting architectural theme continue with massive log construction and stone fireplace.  Bathroom facilities, boat docks, lakeside gazebo and children's play gym are also located here.

 

Both lakes are recognized as Bill Dance Signature Lakes and stocked with trout, bluegills and bass.  


All fishing for visitors is catch and release and requires a Tenneesse State issued fishing license.  Want the inside track on the best fishing spots?  Call our office 855-878-4455 to schedule a private fishing guide and get ready to catch more fish than you thought possible!

Long Branch Lakes Equestrian Center 

Giddy up!  

Long Branch Lakes features a full service (and beautiful!) equestrian center.   Part of the community's 1,000-acre Equestrian Village the Equestrian Center offers barns, boarding, instruction, guided rides along 30 miles of community riding trails and full equine services.  If you are interested in riding horses during your visit to LBL, please contact their office.  Advance reservations are highly recommended and Highland Rim Retreats cannot guarantee availability.  Visitors are also welcome to board their horses overnight for a $20 fee.

The General Store and Hitch'n Post Cafe

Located at the Camp Lake Recreation area on the LBL development, the General Store is open 7am - 6pm M-Th, 7a -8pm on Friday and Saturday, and 8am - 6pm on Sunday (note that hours may change without notice during off-seasons) and can be reach by phone, 423-881-5904.  Simple, delicious and very reasonably priced, they serve breakfast and lunch (ask about their take-n-bake pizzas).  They also have some basics for food and supplies as well as fishing bait and tackle.

 

Location, Location, Location!

Long Branch Lakes offers Tennessee’s most visited state park, Fall Creek Falls as well as Bledsoe State Forest are located mere minutes from your vacation rental and offer additional amenities including golfhikinghorseback ridinghunting (seasonally at Bledsoe State Forest Only).  Additionally, the higher elevation of the Highland Rim means less pollution for clearer sunsets, late night star gazing, and cooler temperatures than the lower elevations to the West.

Located in the Camp Lake recreation area, the community swimming pool has a waterfall built of natural stone.  A children’s pool and changing facilities are here, too.

Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball & More!

Community Tennis Courts_0.jpgThe Camp Lake recreation area boasts four tennis courts, a separate basketball court, sand volleyball court, badminton net, and adjacent sports fields for softball and soccer. Guests should plan providing their own equipment.
