The condo is in a gated rural community surrounded by woods and accessed by a gravel road. The interior and exterior are beautiful. Except for the bedrooms, there were no window curtains or drapes in the unit so it felt like we had no privacy in the living room and dining room. Everything else was great.

It was very clean and exactly as described. Beautiful area. The only recommendations are a washer/dryer and cleaning supplies.

We enjoyed our short stay in condo 701. However it was further away from the parks and a little hard to find at first. Kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. We ate out every night as we got in too late to do any cooking etc. Couldn’t get the fireplace to work and there were several bugs(dead) in closets and around the doors. Beds/pillows were very comfy. Could use a door on the master bedroom bathroom.

Beautiful location that is definitely an escape. They have internet but you most likely won't have cell service. Only gripe I have is that they don't provide actual coffee. They have a coffee maker and filters but you must bring your own. It's such a simple but small thing I feel like they should have put a warning in their list of amenities since most hotels and AirBNB type of venues do have coffee. As a coffee addict I nearly went insane when I discovered that there was no actual coffee in the beautiful condo. Would definitely recommend to friends still. The condo is furnished with a homey wood set of decorum that makes you think you're about to go hunting and or hiking.

Perfect location to escape, relax and enjoy nature

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo! It was very clean and well equipped. What a wonderfully private location also! Was a little disappointed because we thought we could fish in the private lakes but there were signs that we could not and an owner was giving us some bad looks when we were walking around. We also thought we could use the swimming pool so that was a disappointment. We did fish a little bit in the lake next to the condo but it was hard to fish because of the woods. <br/><br/><br/>

Beautiful, peaceful relaxing

Great location near Fall Creek Falls. Don't follow your GPS from Nashville, but use the directions they provide..I got lost :) Also, no phone service in the building, was able to make a call down the road. Cliff and Lisa were great communicators and offered beautiful lodging!

Rented this condo for my family of 3 to get out of the city and explore Fall Creek Falls. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Great location (about 15 minutes from middle of the park). Lovely space with plenty of room and amenities. Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful views out the backdoor. Looking forward to returning soon!

Nice Clean Condo Peaceful. But No Cable. I do wish they had a simpler TV system. You have to be an engineer with NASA to get TV reception. Fire stick Hulu hook up laptop, go online etc. etc. Be sure to get groceries in Sparta or Cookeville. There are NO restaurants close by. They do have a Good grill at condo. PS. be prepared for a pretty extensive check out process. Self clean your condo. Run dishwasher, take out your own trash,leave towels in bathroom for inspection, inspection of linens. $ 50 a minute fee if late checkout. etc Place was nice. But owner is a bit too demanding. We came to avoid housework.

With Fall Creek Falls State Park just minutes away, and wondrous scenery & enchanting woods in all directions from HRR, this area's capacity for picturesque exploration is almost overwhelming. The view from the condo patios over the deep emerald lake is alone worth a visit. Had a wonderful 4-day stay-- not remotely long enough to sample all the adventure and rugged beauty this part of the Cumberland Plateau has to offer! Will be back ASAP!

Had a great time great place to relax and not worry what time of the day it is. Had great time fishing as well basically caught a fish almost every time I threw my line out. Definitely would stay agin

Trout Hill Condo was very comfortable, the whole area is very beautiful. As a big BONUS I caught my personal best, an 11 lb 9 oz LM Bass. Can't wait to come back, maybe in the fall next time.

We had a free weekend and decided to check out Fall Creek Falls on a whim. We were fortunate enough to be able to find accommodations at Highland Rim Retreats. It exceeded our expectations 10 times over! From the help we received from the property manager, to the location and serenity of the condo, to the amenities in the condo- we were blown away! I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy some quality time. We'll be back!

The entire experience was 5 star. Easy reservations, great directions, beautiful lodging. Will definitely stay at Trout Hill again.

The inside of the condo was exactly as pictured and immaculately clean. The outside hallway and porches could use use a good sweeping but nothing major. The fire pit out back was perfect and there was plenty of wood provided for us to use. Only one other unit in the property was rented during our stay so it was quiet and private. The wifi worked the first night but not the second. Not a big deal to us but may be for some. Also, the coffee pot could really stand to be replaced. The community amenities were not open (pool, general store, kayak rentals). Not sure if that's a seasonal thing or what. <br/><br/>None of those things were super important to us so we loved our stay. The condo was very nice, large and comfortable, and the location was a short, beautiful drive to Fall Creek Falls. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We were so excited about out our weekend getaway and we were not at all disappointed. The wireless internet and Sonos music was my most favorite feature of the condo. The fire pit was great and the scenery was perfect for picture taking.

The Trout Hill Condos are new and beautiful with all the comfort and convenience you desire. The property was so quiet and peaceful, all we heard was the breeze and the birds. The best thing about these condos is that they are part of a private gated community so you can swim in the pool overlooking the lake and enjoy the peace and quiet. You will not hear ATVs and noisy tourists or loud music. You will be greeted with warm smiles and handshakes and polite conversation if you visit the general store which serves great food! Fall Creek Falls and endless hiking is only minutes away. This oasis has already been designated as our go-to-spot for the peaceful and rejuvenating mini-vacations we need!

Our family found the condo to be very well furnished and in excellent shape. It was very relaxing and quite enjoyable. The people on the property were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a nice, quiet place to go and get away from it all, this is the place. As with all reviews, I do have one complaint. The roads throughout the property (and it is a large property) are not in good shape. They are gravel with considerable trenching from rain. It is also very dusty. But they are easily overlooked for a couple of days. Very enjoyable.

We wanted to relax a few days and catch a few fish. Fantastic place, very well built and furnished in a classic rustic style. All the folks we had contact with were great. Fishing was excellent. So quit and peaceful. Great Place!! We will be back.
